An experience you should try once in a life at least and even better to try it with them! Marco and team gave us a very good vibe! So we can have fun and feeling safe at the same time.

I saw the movie "The Bucket List" around 10 years ago... 10 years later, I came to Vercelli, Italy, finally did it! It's very scary, but they gave me a very good briefing…

Frequently asked questions

Before you jump

Where do skydiving jumps take place?
Jumps take place at skydiving schools specifically authorised by ENAC, the Italian Civil Aviation Authority. VZONE operates from "Carlo del Prete" Airport in Vercelli, just 40 minutes from Milan and Turin.
What does it feel like to skydive?
A mix of adrenaline, freedom and pure emotion. Freefall is an intense experience, followed by a few calmer minutes flying under an open canopy while you take in the view from above.
I'm afraid of heights - can I still jump?
Yes! Vertigo happens when you have a close visual reference to the ground, but at 4,200 metres that reference disappears - most people who are afraid of heights experience the jump with no issues at all.
How much does a skydive cost?
A tandem jump at VZONE starts from €180, varying with extras such as photos or video. The full AFF course starts from €1,490. All fees include the required club membership for amateur sports associations.
Who can go skydiving?
You need to be in good general health and within the weight limits set by the school. No specific physical training is required - contact us to check the requirements for your situation.
How do you prepare for a skydive?
Before the jump you'll attend a briefing with a certified instructor, covering body position, safety rules and what to expect during the flight.
How long does a skydive last?
Freefall lasts about 40-60 seconds, while the descent under an open canopy takes a further 6-8 minutes - several minutes of flying in total.
What should I wear for a skydive?
Comfortable clothing and well-fastened sports shoes. The school provides a jumpsuit and protective goggles for the jump.
How fast do you go during freefall?
Jumping from around 4,200 metres, freefall speeds reach around 200 km/h (125 mph), for roughly 60 seconds before the parachute opens.
